Slurry blasting, sometimes referred to as wet blasting, is simply the process of mixing an abrasive with pressurized fresh water for the purpose of cleaning a surface.
Slurry blasting is known for being more gentle to surfaces as the water adds a cushioning effect, minimizing dust and surface contamination.
In additional slurry blasting is considered a more Eco-Friendly process than traditional sand blasting. Slurry blasting is also a better process when removing coatings and contaminants from gentle substrates.
